Our Facility
We are located in the heart of Fox Hunt Country, on 200 acres of beautiful rolling hills , pastures and wooded trails. 60' x 145' indoor arena, 3 out door arenas, cross country course. Heated tack rooms. (no tack trunks allowed), 10' x 10' and 10' x 1' stalls, 3 wash racks, 12' wide aisles, and a locker for each rider. We store hay in seperate barns.
About Us
With 40 years experience, Al & Virginia Janiszewski established Crescent Ridge Farm in 1987, as a training facility. Offering lessons for the rider and traning for the horse. Then, over the years we evolved into a Boarding Facility. With over 200 acres of beautiful trails in the heart of Fox Hunt Country! We raised "running" quarter horses for over 25 years and now breed Angus cattle. We raise and sell our own hay. Also, lessons and training are still available.
Our Staff
Our barn manger lives on premise. They make sure your horse is comfortable and happy. Doing night checks, keeping outdoor troughs and HAY HUTS full, stall and water buckets cleaned daily, aisles swept and arena's drug. We ask that you keep the aisle ways clean, by sweeping up hair, manure, dirt and putting your equipment away. Also to have basic first aid, extra blankets, halters, fly spray in your locker. Provide CRF with a copy of negative coggins, do Spring/Fall vaccines and follow worming protocol. We will work with you to treat slight injuries, but for serioues problems your Vet will be called (after we have made every attempt to contact you) and you will be required to pay Vet and Farrier bills. Staff is not required to treat your horse, but you may ask if they have time. They are glad to help in any way. Helmet and boots with a heel are required. Insurance for the following is strongly recommended: tack ( your homeowers), trailer (auto) and horse.
There is always a waiting list and references may be required upon request.
